On February 21, a new meeting of the ManageArt Industrial Efficiency Forum of the Pharmaceutical Sector took place at the Farmalabor – Medinfar Group facilities in Coimbra – Portugal and was attended by the industrial directors of the companies that make up this forum. Business.
On this occasion, the central topic was “The management of high levels of industrial complexity in high demand environments”. After the presentation of Mr. Joao Lopes, Medinfar Group CEO’s, Mr. Nuno Mendonça presented his approach to complexity management and the impact it has on the entire management of industrial activities, from the definition of the Master Plan to the implementation of agile planning systems and reduction of cleaning and change times. After the presentation an interesting discussion took place among all those attending the meeting.
ManageArt presented the results of the recently conducted study on the industrial “Footprint” in the Pharmaceutical sector in Spain. Among the various conclusions of the study, it is worth mentioning the impact of the industrial pharmaceutical sector in the creation of more than 65,000 direct, indirect and induced employees.
The day ended, in addition to the usual visit to the plant, with the debate on the next topics to be discussed in the Forum and with the convening of a new meeting that will take place in the month of May at the facilities of Synthon Hispania, in Barcelona.
