We turn 10 years old
You always must celebrate the dates indicated, and for a company the celebration of its tenth anniversary is a great milestone. According to various sources, 75% of companies do not exceed 2 years of life, and only 10% exceed 5 years after overcoming the phase of growth and acceleration reaching the maturity phase. Therefore, we can consider ourselves very fortunate and we want to thank you.
When, at the beginning of 2008, we decided to create our consulting company, we were very clear about the principles of this: first of all we had to feel very comfortable with what we did every day, and secondly, we had to become for our clients in people of absolute confidence, able to answer their questions when we had the answer, to seek the answer if we did not have it, or to humbly respond that we were not able to answer that question.
Honestly, we believe that we have achieved it. Among our clients are from large multinational companies, family businesses and startups of recent creation. We have had the confidence of one hundred and thirty clients. We have contributed from the realization of a strategic plan for an entire industrial sector, through the contribution to multiple strategic, industrial and commercial plans of various companies, to the creation of a group of companies in the pharmaceutical sector that meet quarterly for five years with the objective of improving the competitiveness conditions of your company and your sector. We have helped companies in acute crisis situations, and we have helped others that were growing rapidly to be able to do so in an organized and profitable way. We have helped several startups have developed and their entrepreneurs have succeeded. And all this thanks to the trust you have given us.

We want to take advantage of this milestone so that each of you can make balance of your last ten years and reflect on the next ten years.
From our position every day we have the privilege to meet many companies and work directly with you, and we have seen and experienced one of the most acute economic downturn that are remembered. Some of you have spent complicated moments with your companies and maybe you have taken decisions that you never wanted to raise. Others have decided to undertake your projects. They have been very intense years, of making decisions in the short term and often forgetting the long decisions: the strategic ones.
Attention to signals
In a previous article we told you that there are three types of crisis in companies, and usually go in this order: strategic, operational and financial. The first one is difficult to diagnose, and that is what we want to refer to today.
We are fully convinced that companies must be permanently questioning their future, and at least every three years, they must make a deep strategic reflection. Our proposal consists of three pillars: knowing the company itself, knowing the competitors and understanding how the market evolves.
When was the last time that with these three ingredients you questioned the strategy of your company? What was the result of the reflection? Who participated in the process?
